The Event
More than 500 contestants participated in the
annual Rat Race in hot Edinburgh weather, on July 17, 2006.
Activities included running, cycling, abseiling,
kayaking, canoeing, an obstacle course, rope crossing and climbing a
slippery wall, in and around Edinburgh.
The event started at 7am and was completed by the
winning team in just under eight hours.
