Leith Western Harbour
Up to 50 dragon boats, each with a crew of 17 are
expected to participate in a Dragon Boat Festival at Leith Western Harbour
on 5 June 2011.
This will be a fund-raising event, organised by
Leith Rotary Club, who are urging companies and organisations to put teams
forward at a cost of £500 each. Boats and helmsmen will be provided
by the company, 'Dragon Boat Events Ltd.'
Racing will take place from 10am until 4.30 pm on
a course close to Britannia in Leith Western Harbour.
