New East Stand
Over the past few years, Hibs football club has
sold some of the land around its Easter Road ground for housing, and has
built new stands around three sides of its ground.
Now, following a large increases in season ticket
sales and in home attendances, the club is considering completing its
redevelopment of its ground by building a new East Stand.
This would take the ground's capacity to almost
21,000. Work could begin within months and be completed, possibly
within a year.
