The Finale of the
Edinburgh Festival in 2003 was a Fireworks display from Edinburgh Castle
on the evening of Saturday 29 August - a display of 100,000 fireworks in
front of a crowd of 150,000. The fireworks were accompanied by the Scottish Chamber Orchestra's programme of Handel's Fireworks Music, Handel's Water Music and Zadok the Priest, all performed from the Ross Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens, beneath the Castle Rock. I hope to soon add my photographs of the fireworks.
