Obstacle Course
The Edinburgh Evening News has announced that 'Survival
of the Fittest', a 10k obstacle course in Central Edinburgh organized
by Rat Race Events, is to take place on October 17, 2010. It is
expected to attract around 2,500 entrants; about 1,000 more than in
2009.
The 2010 course includes:
- a stair climb up Jacob'#s Ladder from
Calton Road to Calton Hill.
- the 'Men's Health 8 ft Wall of Fame'
- a dash through SOCO, the site of the Old
Edinburgh Fire in the Cowgate, and up through derelict buildings on
Chambers Street.
- an obstacle course constructed of Range
