below are his memories of visiting the Museum of Scotland in Chambers
Street.

Museum
"On Sundays, after church,
my mate
Jackie Doig and I would go 'girl hunting'. The happy hunting
ground in winter was the Chambers Street Museum.

We
would saunter around the middle tier till we saw someone we fancied.
The girls would do the same. There were usually about 30 or 40
people, all on the lookout."
