-   Photoglyphic engravings 

     Hon Mr Fox Talbot was expected to have been at the meeting, but sent a letter expressing his regret at being unable to be present. 

     However he sent a great number of specimens of his patent photoglyphic engravings which were handed round among the members.

of Rome 

-   Exhibition and Description of Mr McPherson's large collection of Photographs of Ancient Rome.  

     These covered the walls.  Mr McPherson was present at the Meeting.  He answered questions and promised to forward a Paper on the subject on his return home.
