Family

Adam Diston's studio in Leven was continued after his death by his son, Adam Diston JUN, and that he, in turn, was succeeded by Mary Diston from 1896 until 1905.

Adam Diston JUN

1896 - 1905 Talbot Studio, Railway Cottage, Station Road, Leven

Mary Diston JUN

1896 - 1905 Talbot Studio, Railway Cottage, Station Road, Leven

[Fife Family History Society web site - FFHS]

NOTE:    D Richard Torrance gives different dates for the above studio:

Adam Diston JUN (1885-1905)

-  Mary Diston (1896-1905)

A Diston & Son (1900).

These dates have been taken from old trade directories but do not reconcile well with the dates of death of Adam and Adam JUN.
