James Hay
was described as an "Original Member" of EPS.
This does not mean that he was one of the Founding Members in 1861, but I
believe that it was one of the possible classes of that existing EPS
members could become (and continue to pay the lower subscription) when
Edinburgh Photographic Society acquired its own premises and darkrooms in
1892. In fact he joined EPS on8 Jauary 1883. |
