EPS

1912 Members' Exhibition

High Quality Entries

One hundred and twenty-eight photographs from EPS Members were exhibited.  It was reported that:

"As usual, the class for landscape and seascape is well filled, and contains a number of exhibits of high quality, the closeness of which is merit must have made the work of the judges difficult."

The judges were J B Johnston, F C Inglis and J C H Balmain

Lantern Lectures

During the Exhibition, Thomas Shaw gave a lantern lecture on Venice and Mrs Lauder Thomson, who had given many lectures to EPS in recent years,  gave a lantern lecture on Some Italian Towns and their Art Treasures.  She was standing in for W J Croall FRPS who was still recovering from illness.  Both lectures were given to large appreciative audiences.
