The exhibition was held at Royal Overseas League, 100 Princes St.  Admission was by catalogue, price 50 pence.

Just over 2400 prints were received from 45 countries

Judges Comments

One of the exhibition judges was Maurice F Dorikens.  
He commented:

As Secretary General of FIAP, it his my great pleasure to congratulate the organisers of this salon, especially John E Black, who for 25 years has been the Exhibition Secretary.  FIAP is honoured that from now on the Edinburgh Salon will be on the official FIAP Exhibition lists, making the acceptances in the exhibition count towards the FIAP honours.
