 Open Exhibition

The 1896 Exhibition opened with a concert followed by a "Smoker" on Saturday 1 February.  The following Saturday, some instrumental music was provided during the viewing of the exhibition and on Saturday 15 February, Mr Stitt gave an illustrated lecture titled 'Looking Back'

There were three sections in the exhibition.  The details below are taken from the March 1896 edition of Transactions of the Edinburgh Photographic Society.
