 Open Exhibition

The 1901 Open Exhibition was displayed at 38 Castle Street, from 16 February 1901.  Transactions of Edinburgh Photographic Society reported in March 1901.

"The Annual Show of the work of Members and others opened quietly, of its own accord, so to speak , on Saturday 16th ult."

The Official Opening Ceremony was not held, as the exhibition was being staged during a period of national mourning following he death of Queen Victoria.

A charge of 6d each was to be made for admission of non-members to the entertainments.
