The exhibition was held at St Cuthbert’s Hall, King Stables Road during the Edinburgh Festival.  It opened in August 1958.

The 1958 International Exhibition was given a * rating by the Photographic Society of America (PSA).  

PSA recognised 108 exhibitions in 1958.  About a quarter of these, were awarded a * rating
