Royal Photographic Society Exhibition

Admission to EPS International Exhibition 2018 also includes admission to see a selection of prints from the RPS Visual Arts Group Exhibition, 2018, on display in the Downstairs Gallery at 68 Great King Street.

EPS International Exhibition - Visitor

One of the early visitors to the  EPS International Exhibition this year was Theresa May.  She visited the exhibition on 7 August 2018.

Catalogue

International Exhibition catalogues usually contain photos of only a small proportion of the prints in the exhibition. 

However, since 2012 - the year in which Edinburgh Photographic Society held its 150th Annual International Exhibition - EPS catalogues have included small images of each photograph accepted for the exhibition.

Venue

The 2018 Exhibition of Photography will be on display at 68 Great King Street.  This has been the venue for the exhibition each year since 1996.

Entries

2,010 prints were submitted tor the 2018 Exhibition.
(That's 190 fewer than were submitted for the 2017 Exhibition)

There were

   -     892 mono prints
   -  1,118 colour prints
   -   from 35 countries

From this entry, 202 prints (10%) were selected to be hung in the exhibition.  They were:

   -     61 mono prints
   -   141 colour prints.
