 Supporters

Many photographers throughout Britain have supported Edinburgh Photographic Society over the years.  e.g.  by:

-   giving lectures

-   acting as Selectors in EPS Exhibitions

-   submitting their prints to EPS International Exhibitions.

Here are a few who have given exceptional support to the society:

Today

Sadly, Grace Alison and George Cruikshank are no longer alive.

However, Bob Moore, Bill Wisden** and Margaret Salisbury are all still pursuing their photography.

Honorary Vice Presidents

Edinburgh Photographic Society is pleased to announce that it has now appointed each of them Honorary Vice President of EPS in recognition of their staunch support for the society over several decades.

These appointments were made in 2011, the year that EPS celebrated tits 150th Anniversary.

I'm sorry to have to pass on the sad news below, received by email today  from Sue Hamilton of Edinburgh Photographic Society.  Sue wrote:

"We’ve just heard from Sandy Cleland that Bill Wisden died yesterday, after a long period of failing health. Sad news indeed, and the passing of an era."
