Macdougald was a photographer at 102 South Bridge in 1867.
I
have found no record of JW Macdougald in the Edinburgh trade directories after
1867, but Register House, Edinburgh, has correspondence dated 1889 from JW
Macdougald, together with one of his cartes de visite which appears to be from
the same year advertising:
