I have a cartes de visite by John Meek, with his name and address: John Meek Photographer 2 Roxburgh Street Edinburgh handwritten on the back. This is the only carte de visite in my Edinburgh collection that has a handwritten name and address. I have not yet found any reference to John Meek in the Edinburgh & Leith trade directories.
