Condition of Photographs I have found that several of the later Moffat cards in my collection have deteriorated. On the right is an example, suffering from black spots near the top and white spots elsewhere. In the picture above the most obvious of these faults have been removed using Photoshop. [he method of storage of photos can result in deterioration, but I suspect that the problem here may also be a result of the original processing. My Moffat photos have come from a wide variety of sources and I have not encountered any similar problems with Moffat cartes de visite produced in years up to 1875] |
