WS Moir had studios in
Portobello (1876 to 1896) and also in Haddington.
During this period, he
was in partnership twice:
- Kyles & Moir
(1877-82)
-
Moir & Halkett (1888-96).
The
back of the Moir & Halkett cabinet prints described the partnership
as: "Artists and
Photographers - Portobello and Haddington".
Here
is a cabinet
print of two sitters, and a carte de visite of a small girl, all in Newhaven Fisherwomen's outfits
taken by WS Moir, then
at 106
High Street & 34 Bath Street, Portobello.
