Established 1830 Lizars were first listed, as Photographic Dealers, in the Edinburgh & Leith Post Office Directories in 1899, but the sign above their door says: Established 1830. I have not discovered when their business first included photography. |

AH Baird placed monthly adverts in this publication throughout the period 1910 to 1919 (except, perhaps for the Oct 1914 to June 1915 season), appearing on the front cover almost every month.
