Adverts in EPS Transactions
The adverts below all appeared in the
'Transactions of the Edinburgh Photographic Society'. AH Baird placed
monthly adverts in this publication throughout the period 1910 to 1919
(except, perhaps for the Oct 1914 to June 1915 season),
appearing on the front cover almost every month.
These adverts varied frequently, and included the following.
1912

Lizars held a Grand Removal Sale when they moved to
new premises on the other side of the road in Shandwick Place |
1914 |
Lizars were selling the Cinescope for £5 19s 6d.

1915 |
Lizars reported: "The
entire Enemy Photographic Products having been cut off, British and Kodak
manufacturers have grasped the opportunity ..."

1919 |
Lizar's advert read: "PEACE at last enables
me to resume the production of the new series of 'Challenge' cameras,
suspended during the past four years ..." |
