Thomas Russell's
advertisement above appeared in several of the monthly editions of
Transactions of the Edinburgh Photographic Society in 1893.
In 1894, he advertised again:
All Cyclists and Cyclo-Photographers
should make a point of calling and inspecting
the famous
OVERTONE and SUNBEAM cycles
LARGE STOCK OF
LAMPS, BELLS, OILERS, WRENCHES, CAMERA CARRIERS, ... |
|
By 1896, Thomas Russell appeared to be
concentrating more on the photographic side of their business, describing
themselves in the second advert above as:
Wholesale Ironmongers and Dealers
in Photographic Materials. |
