The developing and printing wallet above is 7 ins x 4.5 ins (closed).  This size of wallet was designed to hold quarter-plate prints.

This is one of several styles and sizes of wallet used by J B Watson in the 1920s and 1930s.  I have seen this example used in 1929 and 1931
