In recent years, the star on the roof of the City Chambers in the High Street has been a prominent feature of the Edinburgh Christmas skyline. This view looks from East Princes Street Gardens, to the south-east towards the Old Town of Edinburgh. The street just visible in the foreground, leading up the hill from the decorations at the foot of Cockburn Street is Bank Street. |
