However, in at least some of these cases, the change of address is due to renaming or renumbering of the street, rather than change of location. I have cabinet prints (illustrated below) bearing each of the last thee of these addresses. There was a large reduction in the number of cabinet prints produced in Britain from the start of the 20th century, so the latest of these cabinet prints may date from around 1900 rather than 1907. |

Numbering All the W K Munro cabinet prints that I have seen have been numbered in pencil on back. This enables them to be sorted into chronological order, and so helps the photographs to be dated more accurately. The final two cards below appear to be from the same photographic session, but it is surprising that both have been given the same photograph number. |
