The Tron Kirk

This painting is by John Wilson Ewbank (1799-1847).

The view looks up the Royal Mile towards the Tron Kirk in the foreground and St Giles Church, further up the Royal Mile, beyond it.

The low squat steeple of the Tron Church before the fire of 1824 can be compared with the steeple after the church was rebuilt.
