"Here is a photo of my
grandfather among about 70 other crew in front of a WW1 bomber
at, I believe, Hendon Airfield 1918.
The back of the mount has been
stamped in ink:
"T. R. Rodger, 39 Asmuns
Pl.,
Temple Fortune, N.W. 4"
The parts in grey have been
added in pencil.

So it seems the 1856-1930 T R
Rodger who came back from India in 1886 and worked for the
Royals, also did some work for the Royal Flying Corps
This is a historic picture, giving a real impression of the scale of
what I gather is a Handley Page 0-400 bomber.
My grandfather, Arthur Thomas
Hawkins, is pictured "dead centre". He died in 1940 when
my dad was only 14.
Granddad was a 1st Lt in the RFC in
1918, according to his records in the National Archive.
