This postcard is in the Albany Series. It is a rather romantic view of Craigmillar Castle in the southern suburbs of Edinburgh. This is one of two cards that I have seen in the Albany Series, used to promote a business. See the back of the card above for details. There is no indication of the year that it was used. The other Albany Series card promoting a business was a view of Holyrood Palace, produced for Broughton Soap Works, Edinburgh. |
