The view This view looks across the Water of Leith towards The Shore on its east bank. The photograph appears to have been taken at low tide. Now Leith Docks (off the picture to the west) have a lock at the entrance so the docks and this part of the Water of Leith are no longer tidal. The water now is much closer to street level. |
