This postcard is in the Hartmann Real Glossy Series. It was posted from Edinburgh to Dundee in 1910. The eastern end of Portobello Promenade and the Firth of Forth are behind the houses on the left. The view can be easily recognised today, though there are no longer trams advertising Bovril or horses and carts using the road. |
