Here is a view of Arthur's Seat, taken from the west entrance of Holyrood Park, close to where the Royal Commonwealth Pool was built in Dalkeith Road. The description "near Edinburgh" on this postcard is interesting. Holyrood Park and Arthur's Sea would now be considered to be close to the centre of Edinburgh. |
