Early 1900s The postcard above is by W Smith, Goldenacre, who sold several postcards of the Granton area. Goldenacre lies about a mile inland to the south-east of Granton Harbour. There is no date on this card, and it has not been sent through the post The card is titled 'Bathing at Granton', and had a few children bathing in the water. I have edited the children out of the picture. The card has a logo (Z Co) at the bottom right hand corner, but I don't know who the publisher was. |
