The View This view looks from the southern side of the Grassmarket to the north-west towards Edinburgh Castle, high on Castle Hill. King's Stable Road leads out of the picture on the left, towards the West End of Princes Street. Most of buildings seen on the north side of the Grassmarket and the Castle look very similar today. |
