This postcard by Valentine of Dundee shows four generations of Newhaven fishwives. It was sent through the post from Edinburgh to Cockenzie on 27 July 1905. Valentine's also produced a black and white version of this card, wiht a number in the bottom-right corner, indicating that the photograph had been taken in 1904
