This photo, with its muted colours, and relatively few cars parked in the street, was taken on a wet day during the Edinburgh Festival, 2007. Buccleuch Place is in the 'University' district, South Side, Edinburgh. Many of the plaques on the doors, including the nearest door in this photo, denote University Departments. The newer university buildings around George Square are to the left of this view. Part of one is just visible on the extreme left. |
