May 2012 This view looks to the west along Drumsheugh Gardens from close to its junction with Queensferry Street, at Edinburgh's West End. This photo was taken on a fine afternoon on May 28, 2012, three days before the police box was due to be sold. Twenty-two police boxes had been put up for sale, with a closing date for offers of noon on 31 May 2012. The postman is sorting his mail that has been stored in the grey pouch box beside the double letter box. |
