Demolition of the Eastern Scottish Bus Depot

Demolition of the former bus depot has opened up (for a while!) the view to the NE towards the Royal High School (upper-left) and the Burns Monument (centre-left) on Regent Road at the foot of Calton Hill.

The entrance to the tunnel of the railway line leading to the east then south from Waverley Station can be seen at the extreme left of the picture.

The main subject of this picture is the former entrance to the Eastern Scottish bus depot.  Most recently,  before demolition, the building was used to hold car boot sales, and as a car park.  Here, we zoom-in to see the entrance in more detail.
