Demolition of the former bus depot has opened up (for a while!) the view to the NE towards Burns Monument (left) on Regent Road at the foot of Calton Hill.

Demolition of the Eastern Scottish Bus Depot in New Street

The main subject of this picture is the former entrance to the Eastern Scottish bus depot.  Most recently,  before demolition, the building was used to hold car boot sales, and as a car park.  Here, we zoom-in to see the entrance in more detail.
