"Local riders, Abs Dixon**  and John Murphy compete against Carrswood, on the Davidson's Mains track, in a NACSA (National Amateur Cycle Speedway Association) event in 1967."

The Track

"The action here is at the 3rd bend with fence and house in the background.  That bend is now someone's garden.  A newer version of that fence is still there today."
