Leith
Harbour Sailings
The Tall
Ship, Jean de la Lune, has been moored in Leith Harbour for the past few
years. Recently it moved to a new berth in front of the former
Royal Yacht Britannia, on the eastern side of Leith Western Harbour,
beside Ocean Terminal.
On
several days between May 1 and June 10, 2006, the ship gave half-hour
trips around Leith Harbour (£5 each). None of the ship's sails were
hoisted for these tours.
The boat
sailed:
- clockwise around the edge of Leith
Western Harbour
- through Prince of Wales Dock to Victoria
Swing Bridge
- back through Prince of Wales Dock to
Leith Western Harbour
- to its berth in front of Britannia on the
eastern side of the harbour.
