Police Box Several old Police Boxes can still be found in the streets of Edinburgh. This one is almost hidden in the bushes. This box is beside the Glasgow Road, just to the west of Maybury Junction. This view looks to the east. Glasgow Road leading to Edinburgh is on the extreme right of the photo. The road just visible beyond the cobbles on the left is the 'old road to Turnhouse Airport', now used for cargo to Edinburgh Airport. |
