Park Cycle "I thought you might like this photo. It is Newcastle Vikings' first away trip of their 1960s era. They raced at Pilrig Park in 1965, a year before I started racing with them, unfortunately." |

More Photos? "I'd love to get some more pictures of our travels up at your end, if you know of anyone who may have any. Most of our Edinburgh excursions then were for NACSA Team or Individual rounds, but we also had challenge matches like the one in the photo. Our men on the grid were Len Bage (far left) and Norman Carson. It would be good to get the names of the two home riders and their team name. I still live in Newcastle. A few of us here are trying to catalogue our old club's history. |
