Site of the Roundabout This photo was taken on the site of the former roundabout that linked - Portobello Road - Seafield Road East - King's Road - Portobello High Street - Sir Harry Lauder Road. Here we are standing near the centre of where the roundabout once stood, and looking to the NW at one of the temporary routes for pedestrians through the traffic streams. This photo was taken on April 13 2007. Following many months of work, the junction was due to be fully re-opened to traffic, with crossings for pedestrians, a few days after this photo was taken. |
