The stone I took this photograph on the high ground between where Jeannie Dean's cottage once stood and the St Leonard's entrance to Holyrood Park on January 7, 2008. I wondered if it might be the 'Slidey Stane', as described in recollections of Holyrood Park. However, it appears not to be. Here is another view of the same stone, but looking to the west: |
