The Stockbridge Duck Race is a charity event, held on the Water of Leith each June. The 2008 event was the 20th Stockbridge Duck Race. The Water Wardens took to the water five minutes before the ducks were released over the bridge at Deanhaugh Street, Stockbridge. The task of the Water Wardens was to free any ducks that become stuck in the river during the Duck Race. |
