Church
Thank you to Bob
Henderson for allowing me to reproduce this photograph of St
Patrick's RC Church, taken in 2005. The church is at the corner
of Cowgate and St Mary's Street in Edinburgh, Old Town.
The church was built
in 1772-74. The south-facing facade was added in front of
the church in 1927-29.

Here is a photograph

School
Some former pupils of
St Patrick's school would like to see a photograph of the school.
Do you have such a photo that I could add to the web site?
If so, please e-mail me.
Thank you.

Football
This area of Edinburgh
was known as 'Little Ireland.'
In August 1875,
members of St Patrick's church founded
Hibernian FC. The club was based at St Patrick's Church
until the early-1890s. Its ground is now at Easter Road.
