Government Offices
Saughton House is a
complex of Government offices in Broomhouse Drive, about four
miles to the west of the Centre of Edinburgh, close to The Gyle
district.
Saughton House comprises blocs of offices, all two storeys
high, on either side of a central entrance. A question
about the original purpose of the buildings has been asked on
this page of the
EdinPhoto web site. It has been suggested that it may
have been built, post World War II, as an emergency hospital. |
