Looking up North St David Street This is as far as the tram line along Princes Street has been laid by mid-August 2009. This view looks to the north up North St David Street. The large department store on the corner of the street, beside the white vans is Jenners. Near the top of the picture, the spire on the left belongs to St Andrew and St George's church in George Street, and the column on the right is in the centre of Str Andrew Square. Melville is on top of the column. This photo was taken, looking down from the Scott Monument, but it has been amended, using, Photoshop so that the verticals do not diverge. |
