The View

This photo zooms in on a view to the east  from the tower of St Stephen's church.

-   In the foreground are the tops of the buildings on the eastern side of Dundas Street.  The road in the lower-left corner. extending into the picture is Fettes Row.

-  The steeple of Broughton St Mary's church in Rodney Street is centre-left.  In front of the church is Scotland Street.  Beyond the church, just visible, is the Firth of Forth and shoreline of East Lothian.

-  Hibernian Football Ground, with the green terracing, is upper-right.  I believe that the tall  buildings just beyond HIbs' ground are somewhere near Restalrig.

- The St James Centre office and shopping complex and the monuments on Calton Hill can be seen in the upper-right corner of this  photo.
