Princes Street  -  Route 61

The Route

Route 61 passes close to the major Standard Life offices at Canonmills, George Street and the West End.  This route used to be a private service for Standard Life Staff  -  then became 'Mac Tours, Route 61' and is now 'Lothian Buses, Route 61'.

The Livery

The corporate colours for Standard Life are blue and yellow.  This service operates in a circle (clockwise only) so requires only one bus.  The original  bus used by Lothian Buses was yellow with a Standard Life slogan on each side.

The latest bus for this service, newly painted in 2011, is blue.
